No, daily bandwidth limit can't be removed. If you are running out of your daily bandwidth quota then you need to upgrade your plan. Here is a KB for it.

This assumes that the OP is on a "Shared & Semi-Dedicated" plan, yes?
However, what if the OP accidentally posted in the wrong forum?!?!?!?![]()

Other accounts don't have a daily bandwidth limit. Only monthly.

Hi Vin DSL,
Bandwidth usage is increasing and is around 3.5G/d, far from 17G a day (510 G/m). The only problem, which prompted my question, is that I had an abnormal day yesterday in which we consumed much more than 17G. But since this occurs once in a blue moon, I was hoping JPC would/could replace the day limit with a monthly limit.
Wouldn’t you consider that honest business?
On whose part?
On this page http://www.jaguarpc.com/semi-dedicated/ where the plan is listed it clearly states: Semi Dedicated Data Transfer (Bandwidth) 17 Gigs Per Day (510 Gig per mo.!)![]()
and KB listed above explains the options if you need more![]()
I can't recall posting a message on this forum stating nor hinting I had no knowledge of the 17G day limit or that the limitations are obscure. In-fact my question inherently acknowledges the limitation. Simply put, I have no idea why the above quote was posted.
As to the "On whose part?" question... it would probably decrease JPC revenues drastically and is probably why other plans, which are limited on a monthly basis, have a much lower bandwidth and are much more expensive.
Final note: I have been a satisfied customer (still am) from 2004 and yet to find a hosting company that can rival JPC hosting plans, enthusiasm, knowledge and customer service, but if the SDX limitation would be changed to monthly, JPC would not probably be one of the best hosting companies, they would definitely be the best!
Just something to think about!![]()
Best Regards,
Mike
Mike I think Frank was referring to this.Wouldn’t you consider that honest business?

I thought I'd try the affiliate program. I noticed under the stats pages it says "This user side interface to relay those stats will be updated by Monday June 25, 2007." I guess this isn't working yet.
The data is being recorded, just not open for display yet. Sorry, just got behind there when some other areas needed attention.
By october you guys should see updates rolling out a lot faster for nixcore. Its going to be an exciting 2008!
