Red face Before I sign up questions - semi

I would like to sign up for semi-dedicated plan ASAP. Here are my questions:
    1. I need custom plan. Could I change my space/bandwidth to less and pay less? (about 12gb space and 8gb bandwith/day) and pay not 30$ but 20$ per month?

    2. On my old host (reseller) they suspended me cause I used too many CPU. They said I have 20,000 hits per day. My stats says 6,000 (about 6gb bandwudth per day). I don't want any more troubles with that, never. I was there only a month and that was just awful experience.

    3. I would buy VPS but I have no idea about running it, but if I have to.. could someone setup everything for me?

    4. I've read somewhere you can restore my full site backup tar.gz file. Is it true? I have that ready to download now.

    Please reply, thank you!
btw. I wanna choose you cause I've read good stuff about jaguarPC on webhostingtalk.

    No, sorry no custom plans.

20,000 hits per day is not big for Semi-Dedicated but it all depends on the code behind your site.

    Semi-Dedicated is better for you.

A $20 VPS isn't as powerful as the SDX, nor does it have the disk space and bandwith you're looking for. That's about giving you freedom / control, not power and size.

There is a $20 reseller plan, but it doesn't have the bandwith you're looking for either.

There's a 10%-off special posted elsewhere on this board. I'd go for it

What's on that site anyway, if the average hit is truly 1MB of data traffic for you?

If you are coming from a host with cPanel, then JAG can transfer the account for you... it will transfer everything from files to databases automatically... I would open a ticket and request them to help you move everything over... Have fun with your new hosting account on steroids
