the new cpanel is slower than molasses?

i have not logged into my account in a while. but now there is a new cpanel/interface version. The file management system is just slow and unresponsive. it would take a full after clicking on a folder for it to load and populate with files. the right click is just as slow, 2-3 seconds before the the option window would popup. I am using an older p4 2gb ram computer. Is it the server or my computer that is causing the slowness problem?

I not really noticed any difference but saying that i do not use the file manager in Cpanel becuase it is ALOT slower compared to FTP.

It mite of just been there were alot people using the server at the time when you were working or the old cpanel was completely cached on your pc.

I have played with the new cpanel a little, it is not the cpanel, just the file manager that is unresponsive. It is too javascript/ajax heavy. ftp is definitely faster, but sometimes I just want to quickly edit a page and save, so I use the file manager. Too bad it is so slow.
