Angry THIRD DAY site is down

This is ridiculous... a couple weeks ago JaguarPC shuts down my site for too much mySQL activity with NO WARNING... took a day to get it back up. I don't even have all that much traffic anyway... I upgraded to semi-dedicated anyway.

Now I'm on my THIRD DAY of site being down... This is ridiculous!! Anyone else had their site down this long?

Did they provide you with a reason as to why it is down? Have you opened a ticket yet?

You can see details here, including the timeline:
    Emergency Maintenance - Eomer.nocdirect.com

Yeah, I started a ticket a while back.

Yeah, my sites were down 3-4 days, when I first started hosting here on reg shared hosting...

And, later, it was down for 3 days when my site[s] started crashing the servers here - before moving to SDX.

It's an imperfect world we live in, you know?

    Server Down Again

I don't know if you guys are on same semi-dedicated server, but now it's down again. This is ridiculous. I am sorry, but being down for days at a time is totally unacceptable. Tech support seems to think it's no big deal.

I'm going to have to transfer to a new host. This is now the THIRD time in a month my site's been down, and I'm up to 7 days out of the month with no site.

I've asked multiple times why I haven't heard from someone with the company to apologize. They should be offering SOMETHING ... at least a refund of the time down (which I've asked for several times) but really if they were professional they would offer more.

I'm going to have to leave JaguarPC. I can't put up with this crap. I'm missing important business emails. My site's been removed from a couple major sites because it was down. Who knows the impact on my Google rankings if I'm spidered during a multiple-day server crash.

    Hrm...

I just performed all the usual tests, and 'your' server seems to be working 100% - it's your site that isn't working.

    How is this JagPC's fault?

    EDIT

Correction... your mail server looks wonky - SMTP error 451.

There is nothing wrong with my site. Just go to the forum threads about the server... It clearly IS and HAD been down. See here, and be sure to look at the lengthy time frames:
    Emergency Maintenance - Eomer.nocdirect.com
    and again:
    Emergency Maintenance - Eomer.nocdirect.com

what on earth are you talking about??? I'm pretty sure it's not my hardware on that server.

Ah, okay... I see it now.

    Sorry!

Have they offered to move you to another machine?

    Kinda ironic, no?

Remember when Brunhilde, the Princess of Iceland, moved to Middle Earth and started having problems after she met Eomer, the Third Marshall of the Riddermark?

    LOL re: the irony.

Yes, they finally did offer... in my last ticket today, and after I insisted they move me to a better server about 5 times in the past week and the request went ignored completely in support ticket replies.

And they will only do that, of course, once this crash is restored. Not thrilled, but I may wait to see how things go on a new server before deciding to move to a new host. This past month has been the first time I've had these probs with JPC, so I am really hoping it's an anomaly. Their laissez-faire attitude about it has really been the thing that troubles me. Me, I personally think 7 days of downtime in about a month is a huggggeeee deal. Maybe I'm just particular. LOL...

    LoL!

That's what happens, fair princess, when you're in the company of two Hobbits and a band Uruk-hai...

Anyway, don't worry, they'll make it right - they always do!
