Up front, I want to make it clear that I am not currently running anything IRC related.

I just have a question concerning IRC. I understand that Jag doesn't allow IRC on their network. This obviously means that you cannot run a IRC bot or actually run software to run IRC rooms on a Jag server. Admittedly, I'm not really very familiar with exactly how the whole IRC thing works. But my question is this: is it against Jag's poilcy to run a chat client on your server which connects to an IRC room which is hosted elsewhere?

Again, I don't even know that I would want to. Just asking to clarify what options are out there.
