problems setting up nameservers for foreign domain

I registered a .hu domain name at eurodns.com. Their service is kind of slow and confusing, and there's practically no documentation.

As I understand it, what I need to do to get the domain name to point to my website is to update its nameserver records from the eurodns.com default to JaguarPC's, which in my case is ns.nocdirect.com (69.73.130.223) & ns2.nocdirect.com (69.73.180.70), then add a parked domain to my existing one using CPanel. But whenever I try to do this first step (a nameserver change inexplicably costing 28 euro), I get this email:

The .HU Registry has informed us that the name servers you have appointed
for this domain are not correctly configured.

    ns.nocdirect.com (69.73.130.223)
    ns2.nocdirect.com (69.73.180.70)

As this is a strict requirement of the Registry, we would like to stress that the registration
of your domain cannot be finalized if you fail to provide us with correctly configured name servers.

Should you need help, please refer to the following tools provided by the .HU registry:
    http://www.domain.hu/domain/English/regcheck/

Once this modification has been performed, please resubmit your update in the pending
actions of your EuroDNS account: https://www.eurodns.com/pendingActions

    Best regards,

Any idea what's going on? Is the problem with the Hungarian registry (in which case I'm out of luck), EuroDNS, or the JaguarPC nameservers themselves? The EuroDNS websites gives me two separate options, one to update the nameservers and another to update the DNS records (MX, CNAME, A, AAAA, TXT). I've never seen this before and don't really know what to do with it.

EuroDNS deal with a lot more TLDs and ccTLDs than many registrars, and their system actually checks that you have the nameservers set up correctly before approving the change. The trick is to install the domain first (in your case, park it on your Jag account so that it's added into Jag's DNS setup) and then make the nameserver change at EuroDNS. I don't know how quickly Jag's nameservers update, so maybe leave it an hour after parking the domain before you try changing the NSs at EuroDNS. You don't need to get into the MX, CNAME, A, AAAA, TXT records - That's only if you elect to use EuroDNS's nameservers.

I thought that that might have been it, but when I tried to park the domain through CPanel, this was the error message that I got:

    Adding Parked Domain
There was a problem creating the parked domain. Show Details
Error from park wrapper: Using nameservers with the following IPs: 80.92.67.140,80.92.65.2 Sorry, the domain is already pointed to an IP address that does not appear to use DNS servers associated with this server. Please transfer the domain to this servers nameservers or have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ips.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver.

Pop a ticket in to Support to get them to add the parked domain to your account for you, then (after they reply that it's done) wait the hour I suggested before you try again at EuroDNS. That'll give time for EuroDNS's cached lookup to expire.

Kind of like EuroDNS, cPanel checks whether or noth the domain you are trying to add exists in someone's DNS before it adds it. If it does exist elsewhere then cPanel assumes you don't have authority to add it (a frustrating, but understandable security measure) and blocks you. JPC can override that action, though, so like Euronut said, just open a ticket and ask support to park the domain for you.
