    Alatar

Over the last couple of weeks, like clockwork, Alatar has been going down. It appears that there's a heavy server load on Alatar and when I contacted tech support about it, I was told that the tech checked the 24 hour server log and noticed a high server load. But yet, after weeks of having this issue it hasn't been fixed. I was asked if I noticed it at a specific time could I contact them about. It happens during all hours of the afternoon. This is getting increasingly annoying and I don't understand why this hasn't been fixed. I know I can't be the only one on Alatar that is having issue?

I'm on Alatar and I got an error report from my tracking service that my site was down for about an hour from 8:32pm CST yesterday. A few days ago I got another alert that it was down for a bit. Unfortunately host-tracker.com appears to be down at the moment so I can't give you any other details. To be honest I haven't noticed a problem in the afternoons, although my site is a pretty low-traffic.

I'll try and keep a closer eye on my site.

Thanks for responding Jonathan. I see it's starting back up again today. My site has been up and down all afternoon. I think I'm gonna ask to be moved to another server. My members of my site have even started complaining about it. So, I definitely know it's not just me or my ISP.

No, it's not just you. According to my account on Host Tracker, my site went down at least twice today (the last one about an hour ago). Before that, the last time mine went down was what I mentioned in my previous message. I think I'll open up a ticket and see if I can get any info.

The tech that answered my ticket last night said they did discover an account that was the cause of this high load and "informed the client to optimize their scripts." I haven't noticed any problems since last night. Keep your fingers crossed...

Great! Maybe you'll have more luck with support, then I did! Keeping my fingers crossed over here!

    Thanks again!

[Sigh] So much for keeping fingers crossed... HTTP and MySQL were down again on Alatar about 5 minutes ago. I noticed those being down for at least 5-10 minutes.

You might have the right idea asking Jag to move you to another server.

I just put in my request to be moved. And I hate doing it, but I can't deal with this server load much longer. I'm losing members on my site.
