    Optimize your Mysql database

    Hello!

    They have told us in order to unlock our database we need to "optimize your Mysql database" How do I do that and is it a complicated process? Even if we change servers if we don't optimize won't we run into the same problems? THX

    I'm sorry, with this level of detail, nobody will be able to help you. Your situation is like you're on a desert island on the radio asking a doctor how to perform a surgery on a man with a limp. I don't know what is causing the limp, I can't see the patient. It might be a thorn in his shoe, it might be a brain tumor. Where should I tell you to start cutting?

    Ask for your ticket to be escalated to level 2 support, if it is already thier contact Masood here on the forums.


    See if someone can atleast provide us with more details as to what is happen then we can find a solution.

    I'm sorry. I feel like I'm on a desert island stranded. I wish I had more info and I'm probably not even in the right place for help. I'm just the site admin trying to get my site back up... I'm not the one who has ever been in charge of any server issues until a few days ago. I am searching everywhere for help after having to take this on with basically no knowledge.

    Ohh your in the right place for help, there is alot of brain power here on these forums......

    The problem is, with out know WHAT needs optimized there is little we can do.... We need to know exactly what the support is balking at...

    Thank you so much. I just copied exactly what was sent to me from the person who has the account with Jaguar PC. It's really hard becasue the website is mine but I don't have contact with the server. The person who does is no longer helping us so we are trying to figure out what to do so they will unlock our database. I was told I will have to change servers into my own name but I would prefer to try and stay with Jaguar PC if we can get done what they want to get us back up and running. Then I can get the service transfered in my name.

    What I posted was all I have to go on. I will try to find out more. Thanks again.

    if you have not done so, please please make sure your ticket is escalated to 2nd level; support, stop playing with the 1st level guys in the end they will not be able to help you anyway.....

    they are more of the "how do I access my email" people
    which is why your getting vague awnsers and not technical details///

    I think we are as frustrated as you are!

    Send a PM here in the forums to JPC-Masood, tell him what is going on and ask hime how to proceed. You'll probably need to contact the Sales department first to get the ACCOUNT into your name so you can have login credentials and access to the ticket system.
