Question about the Semi-Dedicated Hosting

Greetings,

I am very interested in a Semi-Dedicated Hosting plan. I know that with a standard shared hosting plan, it comes ready with the control panel and that sort. With a Semi-Dedicated Hosting plan, is the operating system pre installed? Is the Control Panel ready to go for mySQL?

Semi-dedicated plan is essentially similar to a shared plan with OS, control panel and MySQL but with more CPU and memory resources per account, this is because there are significantly less number of accounts sharing resources on a semi dedicated server than there are on a shared server.
