If this sounds stupid please excuse me but I was told that my cPanel Version and apache and php,sql ect ect are supposed to be upgraded to the latest version is that true and if so do I do that or jaguar. I was just told that so i'm just making sure. thanks

Running latest stable versions of software/applications is always preferred in general. You can upgrade Cpanel and related software apache/php and mysql yourself as well or open a support ticket and we can help you with that.

What kind of account do you have? If you are on a shared, reseller, or SDX plan then JPC maintains all of this for you. If you have a VPS or dedicated server then, as Rizwan said, you can do it yourself (it should be just a few clicks in WHM) or ask for assistance.
