I paid for extra bandwidth but site is Unavailable

    Hi:

I paid for 3 extra gigs of bandwidth on the 24th. Tonight my site went inaccessible due to exceeding bandwidth about an hour ago.

I posted to the previous paypal ticket for the payment I made on the 24th to see if I had used up those extra 3 gigs, but no reply.

I sent $8 via paypal for another 4 gigs about 20 minutes ago. My site is still down and no support seems to exist.

When I paid for the first 3 gigs I still had some bandwidth left; I had not used up the entire 180,000 MB. I am now over the limit by only 1609.25 MB. I don't think they even added the first 3 gigs I paid for on the 24th.

How do you keep track of the usage of the extra bandwidth you purchase?

    Thanks for any help.

    Cindy

    Why is my site down?

What is going on with Jag?

My site is still inaccessible. It should not have been shut down at all; I paid for the extra bandwidth before exceeding bandwidth.

This doesn't make any sense, and no one seems to be looking at the service tickets at all.

Cindy, Please open a support ticket regarding this or provide me the ticket number in a pm if you have already opened one, so that I can check and get your issue resolved asap.

I already have two support tickets in from my Paypal payments for the extra bandwidth.

    They are 12888554 and 12890558.

    Thanks

Cindy, thank you for providing the ticket numbers. Both tickets are in sales and will be replied shortly. Please note that support is available 24-7 unlike sales and if you have any urgent issue like this, you can always open a ticket in support.

    Thank you

Emails from Paypal payments appear as service tickets. I had posted to the end of the first one and waited for a reply to that. I didn't know that they are treated differently. Thank you for bringing that to my attention.

    Cindy,

I am sorry for the issues that you have had. The bandwidth problem has been fixed, and your site is now active.

Sales is closed between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am CST, and your tickets were in the sales queue.

In the future, for emergency type issues, please open a ticket to support, and they will take care of you.

This ticket is almost two years old. Plans were different two years ago. Please check the dates on the threads before re-opening them.

Opps Replied before I saw Zach Post

    Nevermind

Many Forums Autoclose posts over a certin number of days, I would Highly Suggest JPC look in to doing that for anything over 365 days old, I believe there is a feature or add on for VB that will do it automatically as a cron job.
