Host plan choice and apache ver. questions

Hi,
I want a Jag hosting plan.
My host plan is Shared or SDX => VPS.
I need more cpu and ram resources. But I am inexperience on VPS.

Jag Servers use Apache ver 1.3x . I have a lot of dynamic sites. Some software solutions and a few sites required-to apache 2.x. Are these work on 1.3.x? If this not possible what is your advice ? Lastly, which hosting plan is include Apache 2.xx .

We have Apache 2.x on our new Shared/SDX/Reseller servers. If you require more CPU/Resources then SDX or VPS should be fine but depends on your requirement i.e. if you are a reseller with high requirements then you should go for either VPS or Hybrid Package. If you have a single account with Add-ons, then SDX should be fine.
