    Parsing PHP in .html files

Is there some new trick in PHP5 to parse php code in an html file?

I've spent last last several hours searching Google, newsgroups and forums and tried every permutation of AddType, AddHandler, etc in my .htaccess file. I've even tried using cPanel's Apache Handlers and MIME types to get this to work and nothing, zilch, nada, the big fat goose egg. The only help I've found in here goes back to when we were with Aletia and that still didn't work.

All I want to do is add some code to existing .html pages that detect user agents and redirect to a mobile version of the site. I don't want to rename all my files with .php

    Anybody?

Nevermind. Lack of sleep can make your head do dumb stuff. I just read the PHP config info in cPanel and there was the answer.

Yes things did change in PHP5 as I suspected.
