    Server Lonestar

Is anyone else besides me noticing some lagging with Lonestar? I'm trying to build a new Joomla 1.5 site and can hardly get the site to load. Even the Admin panel in Joomla is lagging. I checked the server status in my cpanel and noticed the server load was high a few moments ago and that Disk /dev/sda8 (/home) is 87 %
    and Disk /dev/sda2 (/var) is 96%

You probably got some bonehead (on 'your' server) running a chatroom, or whatever...

Any/every time I've had load problems on these shared mega servers, it was because somebody was using up all the shared resources - once it was me that was using all the resources - too much traffic (another possibility, somebody has outgrown the shared environment - maybe even YOU)!

I digress - kinda funny, really! They say, when a shared server is loaded up - everyone on said server *thinks* it's their fault. In my case, it really was me - and I thought it was everyone else.

    Anyway, back on topic...

Since you're jailed and don't have TOP & PS, et cetera... have you contacted Tech Support about this?

If you *think* there's lagginess, there probably is - you don't need anybody to confirm it!

    Hi missie235,

Are you still facing this problem? I have checked the load history of Lonestart and noticed couple of load spikes that probably be the cause of this issue. Please advise did you open a ticket with technical support? Also if you are still experiencing this problem, I strongly recommend to open a ticket with details and techs will look into it. We are monitoring the server too to confirm there is no load causing user with high resource usage. Thank you.
