    I've about had it

I have had numerous issues with Jaguar from the beginning. Most of these issues were solved reasonably quickly, though not without a great deal of hassle on my part. The only thing that kept me with Jaguar is the fact that the server has always been relatively fast, as promised.

Now however, I am reconsidering as the last few months I have had horribly bad experience off and on. Right now my website isn't even useable to the majority of my visitors and customers, and I am losing sales.

The ticket I have submitted has not been addressed for well over an hour, and the original reply was so off the mark it makes me want to cry. It is a continuation of the ticket I put in last night, which was solved fairly quickly, though the problems resumed this morning.

Anyone have a good semi-dedicated server company they can recommend?

    Hi morty,

I have just replied your ticket. The .htaccess rules you have appear to be slowing down the response time, and none of the other domain on the server is facing this problem. We verified this after renaming the .htaccess temporarily to disable the rules, the site started to give normal response time. Please follow up with your ticket that has more details on it.

    This is crazy.

This has nothing to do with my htaccess mod rewrite rules - they are inconsequential.

Ask Nick to look at the switch again. I'm grasping at straws perhaps, but could you possibly have a power problem which is screwing up your switches? Yesterday was not the first time this was looked at.

If I was having issues due to my htaccess rules, why am I also having the same extremely slow response time on my admin side? That htaccess file is your basic htaccess file with no rewrite rules, yet the admin side is also plagued by this horrible problem.

I should also add that why is it that your tech support people suggested that the response was on a couple of occasions just fine when they tested, with no mention of any problems with htaccess?

There has been a network issue earlier and thus there was a packet loss too , but it was resolved and there is no more network issue, your own tracerts earlier in ticket showed no issues related to network from your end to the server here.

Please update the ticket with your admin area url and related details and we will check that further.

Why can't you just look at what Nick did yesterday? It's on the same ticket.

Whatever it is he did yesterday the problem was fixed instantly, if only for half a day or so.

What he got resolved from our network technicians was a packet loss problem, which was there at that time and has not reappeared after the fix, and thus there is no packet loss to be fixed.

Your ticket is still being checked and will be updated with the findings.

Yes. The 3rd and 5th Rons were quite morose, but the 4th Ron is very happy.

Happy Independence Day to you too, bigguy!

(Wait a sec, that sounds WAAAY too much like Vinny for comfort.)
    Good luck

    LoL! Are you mocking us?

And, morty... you might consider switching servers, instead of switching hosts.
