    Question SSL error

    Hi,
Im using the community SSL, and today I noticed its giving a security issue.

    https://abhean.nocdirect.com

is the cause, it its saying it cannot verify or guarantee the secureness. (more or less translated from spanish).

HUH? Did the cert just expired? or whats up?

The stupid (firefox only probably) is telling my paying customer to go elsewhere...

    Whats up?

    JC

No, the cert was not expired, in fact a recently moved account which was setup on the dedicated server created the issue. This has been fixed now. Please give it a try again.

    Angry It broke again

    The SSL broke again.

"abhean.nocdirect.com uses an invalid security certificate."
"The certificate is only valid for the following names:
    www.caneyeholla.com , caneyeholla.com"
    "(Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)"

This is the third time this breaks. God knows how long its been since its been broken.

Isnt there a way to fix it and keep it fixed? A security risk or fault isnt the best way to make sales. Will I have to buy my own? Or can I get some guarantee that it will be fixed and saty fixed?

This has been corrected , it was caused by the other domain on the server setup on the wrong IP i.e. main shared IP with a cert installed on it. We are checking into how/why it happened.

Do you have any ticket number for the last two incidents ? So that we can track the issue and find out what was the reason in the last two incidents.

On separate SSL question , yes if you have separate SSL for your domain it would not be affected by any configuration problem with the cert on the main shared IP, though its a rare issue and usually there are no issues with main shared ssl as well.

    Working now, thanks again.

Nope, no ticket. just this thread. As you can see the first time it was also caused by some other domain. Just like this time.

    Thanks for the SSL answer.

    The SSL error is back.
This is the 3rd time in 3 months. Look at the thread....
Can someone PLEASE take a look why this keeps hapening over and over again?
If not, please put a notice in the server specs that the SDX SSL server works sometimes and no one will tell you if it goes down or expires, or a hosting changes or whatever...

Please fix it for once and for all.

    Juan Carlos
