    Imap slow!!!!

I dont know if it just me or if there is something wrong with the server.

Most of my Email is trough Gmail, either with Google Apps or Gmail Directly, however one of the Domains I host here I started using the local IMAP Server to receive mail it is seems to take FOREVER to download a Message.

Anyone notice this? or should I start a Ticket to have the server looked at?

The problem is I am not 100% sure it is a JPC issue.

If I close thunderbird and restart it, I can access 1 message, then goes in to "loading message" on the next one and stays there....

Close Thunder Bird and reopen and it works fine again, for 1 message...

Did you try any other email account in Thunderbird or any other email client for this particular email account? Are you facing same issue with them as well?

I have an issue that might be related. Most of the time when my iPhone retrieves email (I think it is doing POP3, though I am unsure) after the first try subsequent tries cause the email icon to just start spinning and the function never completes. I go into my iPhone settings and turn the email account off and on and it works again.

If I SSH onto my server, I can see an email demon with my userid running constantly. Normally these things fire up and shut down nearly instantly when other clients check for mail.

Since the iPhone and Thunderbird/Safari/whatever may all share some code, I thought my case might be similar.
    Good luck

///yes I am in a bad mood today, so read the below post with that in mind. Sorry if I offend

Well I have come across another Issue, that I will probally resolve by not using JPC for Email Services and Flip over to Google Apps since atleast google can run a mail service.

Support has been there ever non-helpful selves..

I looks like, at least from my end, that JPC is now checking SPAM HAUS on all income connections to STMP, this is a problem for me since Comcast and most Res Internet providers VOLUNTARILY blacklist all Dynamical Assigned IP's and try to force you to us there SMTP's

Using SSL and Gmail I have no problems with the Google Apps Service, but Starting this morning every 4th or 5th email I tried to send using the JPC SMTP I just a "JunkMail Rejected" response from the SMTP server and the message is never sent.

Let me be clear, as support has a problem comprehending, this is not a bounce, but rather a connection response when Thunderbird attempts to send the mail via the JPC SMTP.

Gmail, my Google Apps account, and another account with another provider have not had this issue ever or today.

I am at home today on vacation thus I needed to send email using this account.

Supports only response is "Get the ISP to unblack list it" I have about as good of chance of getting that to happen, and Obama does getting Iran to stop building nukes... ZERO....

My question is, Is JPC in fact checking SPAM HAUS for in bound connections to the SMPT's? If so, why, and what policy to you have for people like me that have no choice to use the Hitler of ISP's?

    Hi the_ancient,

Please check your SMTP authentication settings.

You should be getting this error message ONLY if you have not authenticated with our SMTP server.

Please open a ticket regarding this issue if you are having trouble with this or provide the ticket number of the request you've already submitted and I'll look into this for you.
I do work for JaguarPC. If you do need help please provide your ticket number (this isn't sensitive information).

If I'm not active on the forum please open a ticket instead of PMing me. If you think the issue requires access to your server please open a ticket.
