is this normal? I'm getting a little worried.

I recently moved from a shared plan to a semi-dedicated, according to support my site has been move already.

BUT

my site is not showing up when you type in my web address. Instead it indexed some of my folders, and they are now empty. So I logged into my ftp (shared) and checked what happened and my files are gone, then I go into my filemanager and check the semi-dedicated account files are not there either. But both are displaying (indexing) the empty folders.

Please tell me I did not just loose my site.

Please open a ticket in support department for this issue, or provide here a reference ticket ID in which your account was transferred.

If your account has been transferred recently then you will not loose any file as your account will be present on old shared server also.
