Post Are the Jag Servers/connections slow?

    Hey,

So, i am doing a backup (download) of my site, and i only get 120-150KB/sec speeds.

If i download a test file from a different site or other files e.g. from nvidia, i get over 1mb, around 1.4mb or so.

So why is it so slow (in comparison to others).

It cant be 1 jag server, because i have tried 2 different accounts (on different servers). So its not like the server is overloaded or anything (load is at 1.25). ITs not my connection, since i get faster downloads in other places.

I should be getting better download speeds from jag.

    i have submitted a ticket.

Is there anyone here from Europe? (in particular the UK). I think the problem is a connection, because when i do a traceroute it skyrockets at pccwbtn.net. If i run the traceroute on a U.S based site it doesnt use pccwbtn.net, and it seems to be much quicker.

If someone wants to help me test a download (wherever you are in the world) i will upload something for you to download. It might help
