My DNS settings blown away again.

Help me JaguarPC-Ben-Kenobie, you're my only hope.

The DNS settings (MX and CNAME settings) for our domain (macuchsteel.com) were blown again for the second time in 3 days.

Our company depends heavily on email commnications and we are now dying. The Board of Directors is breathing down my neck and if this cannot be fixed soon, I will be out of a job and my wife and three children will be in peril.

I understand you don't like to talk to humans for support issues, but this is an unmitigated disaster - not a support issue.

It seems that all needs to happen is that the DNS settings for macuchsteel.com should be rolled back to what they were earlier in the week, before my nightmare started.

Please don't ask me to 'submit a ticket'. I don't have access to that yet. I just did buy an account to get access to this board.

Please help me as soon as you possibly can.

    Hopefully,

    CharlieCox

    I have not opened a ticket because I can't.

Our domain (macuchsteel.com) is managed by augustablue.com. Augusta Blueprint doesn't work weekends, but this was fixed yesterday afternoon - and then it broke again this morning.

The dns settings were on ns3.jaguarpc.net and ns4.jaguarpc.net (or .com). Now they point to something like ns.nocdirect.com.

The thing is, when they log into their control panel, our account is not there. Things have been running great for several years, then on Thursday at about 0630, it looks like our DNS settings were deleted on your name server.

The person who set up the account is no longer with augustablue and is unresponsive.

What we needs is to have the DNS settings put back the way they were earlier in the week.

I am forwarding you the email I sent to Greg and the rest of your managers.

Please help me. This has to get fixed as soon as practical.

    You are always welcome :c)

The DNS zone file was on one of the servers where your domain was hosted previously. That server has been recently migrated that caused the DNS to get overridden on our Nameservers. I have removed the traces of DNS from that old server to ensure it does not get overridden again and updated the DNS records to resolve this issue.

    OK, Thanks again.

Do you think Greg would mind if I called him at home tonight and sang your praises?
