gitorious

Hi,

I've got a shared server account on newcallisto and I am looking into setting up a gitorious site for my personal use. (It would be restricted access, not a public server.)

Gitorious requires Git (http://git-scm.com/) to be installed as well as Sphinx (http://sphinxsearch.com/). Can those packages be installed for use? I haven't seen much in the KB or forums that helped me determine if that would be possible or not. It doesn't appear that Git is available.
