Cannot create subdomain - Help?

Please help. I try to create sub domain and appear "Error from domain wrapper: mail.mattisdirect.com is owned by another user."

Please note that mail.domain.com already exists as a CNAME to domain.com on cPanel server, since it is used by some people for the incoming and/or outgoing server for email clients. You cannot use mail.domain.com as a subdomain on a domain, although you could revise the existing entry by following "Advanced DNS Zone Editor" option in cPanel.
