The strange part is, if I copy and paste this message into a new message to my domain, the filter blocks the message from coming through. But the original spam messages keep coming.

I've talked to tech support and all they can tell me is when they send a message the filter works for them. The don't have any answers for me as to why the filter does not work on the original messages. I've also changed the filters to use other phrases in the message but that doesn't work either.

Does anyone here have any suggestions? This is really frustrating. I would hate to have to delete my e-mail account and start over with a different one, but it's looking to me that I might have to do that.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

In case anyone's interested, I figured out what the problem was.

The reason the filter isn't stopping the message is because the spammer does not have any text in the message body. They're sending the message as a plain text attachment. When my mail client gets the message, it simply puts the attachment in the body of the message (because it's plain text).

I discovered this when I was reading my mail with NeoMail web mail (which showed the attachments instead of the message body).

Now I've got to go back to the drawing board with my filters.
