And, even after all the talk, you still don't get it. So, what else is new?Originally posted by CeleronXL

DISCLAIMER Any resemblance between the views expressed above and those of the owners and operators of this system is purely coincidental. Any resemblance between these views and my own are non-deterministic. The existence of Vin DSL is questionable. The existence of views in the absence of anyone to hold them is problematic. Yeah, it's almost been down for 30min. I guess they can start working on it again Monday, since it doesn't look like the memory was the problem. I hope they get it nailed down soon.
It's back up, finally.

My point is, no machine should be this unstable. I first left Aletia because my machine, Eagle, became unstable (very much like photon).
The final straw that made me move was the incompetance of having only one DNS server, and simply tieing two IPs to it. So that server went down for 8 hours and all sites across Aletia went down. I hope Jaguar has two DNS servers...

we'll move the drive(s) to a new machine... see if its not hardware. If that fails us then well format her and start over. We beleive it could be a motherboard issue.

All the times Photon has been down this past week and I've checked the server status, only the HTTP is listed as down. Yet, I have been unable to retrieve email at those times even though the mail is listed as working. Why would that be?
Same here, and it just went down again.![]()
Is there an estimated time on when this will occur?Originally posted by Jag

Sigh, my whole site's down..
Photon server as well..
Anybody know when it'll be up again? This is getting extremely frustrating - especially for someone that has just switched to JPC because I heard good things. If it was just me, okay. But it's my client's site.
Is this the way it is usually at JPC? (I think we already know what VinDSL will say, but how about the rest of you have been with JPC for awhile).

My site is also down as of 4:48 PM CST![]()
