Have noticed that other servers have been having problems (from the forums),- was wondering if any one else on platinum was experiencing problems too (I've had no website or emails for nearly 12 hours). The main update forum thread said platinum had been worked on recently (along with a few other servers),- sounded like 'past tense' though.... but my site on platinum is still down. Maybe it's just me??? Anyway, thought I'd check here to see if it was something major before opening a support ticket (I don't want to waste the tech's time if it's a major server thing they are already working on!).

Also, it's been hard to access the forums the last few hours too (up and down!),- unless that's just me too??? It's good to check here to see what's happening!

Yep, us too (also Platinum) - I originally thought it was all due to maintenance, as it said in the News & Updates section... however, I am getting a bit concerned about it, as it's a loooong, looong time for our site to be down with no mail, no ftp, no nothin'...

Down for maintenance my arse. Maintenance is a scheduled outage. This was no scheduled outage. Something happened and they're using that excuse to cover their butts so they don't get hit over their collective heads with their Uptime Policy.

There was a post on the Plutonium thread from Jag a couple of days ago that a spammer had hit that server. So who knows what's really going on. I still have parts of my site, CPanel, among other things that still aren't working. It's getting quite ridiculous.

There's a note on the network status page (https://secure.jaguarpc.com/clients/network.php) that states:

"Plutonium and Iron are down for maintenance, they will be down for approx 4 hrs due to circumstances beyond our control. Sorry for any inconvenience."

Sadly, there's no indication whether the note was posted 10 minutes ago or half an eon ago ... Somebody wasn't thinking when they posted that. <sigh>

That message was there yesterday morning. If they're still down for maintenance, there's been no kind of an update anywhere. I still say it wasn't maintenance at all. Something happened and they're covering their arses.

I've had problems with one of the accounts at Jaguar over the last couple of days with no word from support on the ticket I placed. This isn't unusual as Jaguar seem to provide one of the worst services I've ever known.

Anyway today somebody pointed out that despite errors with the main domain, sub-domains and parked domains were finding pages which read:

I have now removed these pages.

One of these sub-domains is for my CV, so I've lost potential clients, another is for a parked domain which is for a children's book store!!!

Does Jaguar think this behaviour is acceptable, that to not alert it's users of these sort of problems is acceptable and are there not laws in the US about this kind of thing???

Quite frankly Jaguar have been consistant in providing an underrated service over the last 12 months with downtime running to weeks across our various accounts. And this takes the biscuit, Jaguar should consider what they're doing and the results of their behaviour, which has been nothing less then SICK.

My sites just seems to load slower then usual. Is this cause of the updates.
