Angry URGENT: reseller nameserver still not working

Hi ... just got off 20+ hours of a long haul flight and the DNS situation meets me. It seems my reseller nameservers ns.attitudeinternet.com and ns2.attitudeinternet.com are still not working. A ticket has been lodged for this but it is an urgent matter affecting all my resold accounts ... so I am hoping support can resolve this asap ... the ticket number is 1049259252.

Oh, Maybe that's a reason for my site's down time. And my clients. When will it be back up! Mine too: ns.dkahost.com & ns2.dkahost.com

Isn't running on secondary DNS Server supposed to be temporary?

I can't imagine that running on the secondary DNS server can be very efficient. Primary has been down for almost 24 hours now. Any idea when it will be back up? I've notice a slight lag time with both my site as well as jaguarpc.com. I guess that sounds petty with the issues that others are going through, but it still does need fixing.

All taht primary and secondary means is which server is the authorative server for your domain. Updates are made to the primary and the primary tells the secondary about it. The reason for having two or more servers listed is just for load balancing and consistancy. When making a DNS request, most systems cycle through all of the available servers so that no single server gets bogged down. In cases where one is down, the other(s) should pick up the slack. Since DNS caching occurs, bith on your computer and on your ISP's DNS servers, there is no need to hit the DNS servers on every page request, so I doubt the slowdown you're reporting is DNS-related. I've seen slow responses today as well, although I think it may be due to the problems with the servers as opposed to DNS.
