I've just noticed Spam Assassin is available, which automatically deals with Spam. Does anyone have any details at all about how it works?
Does it:
a) delete any mail which it thinks is spam, using it's black list and special rules etc
or
b) mark these spam messages with **SPAM** or suchlike in the subject, so you can check them before deleting them.
I've started getting SPAM sent to my personal e-mail address, and would really like to kill them, but not risk losing any real messages sent to me. I'd like to check Spam Assassin is doing a good job at that before I let it delete too much mail.
Any response appreciated.
Claude
