    Plutonium - Home Directory Missing

I know I've already posted on this subject, but it was merged with a completely unrelated Xenon thread thus being buried and I've also narrowed the problem down.

It seems that my home dir is missing (I can login via shell but get told that the folder does not exist). The account is actually still there, although with an old password which is what had confused me previously. I can also login via the server page to the control panel, however that does me no good as all the various functions fail because they have no folder in which to store the settings etc

I have a ticket open on the subject and reading even more threads today I can't see anyone else describing the same problem for the same duration (9-10 days)

There's been some changes to the shell accounts, they're improving the security on the servers.

    Run this: cd ~

And you should be able to see your home directory.

Not the related to my problem I'm afraid, the home directory does not exist at all. It was missing long before they switched from bash to jail. As I said I'm told by colleagues that the site went down sometime between Sat and Mon last week and has been down since then. I was away for 9 days and was only aware of the problem when I returned.

If it's not your problem, then you must submit a support ticket as we cannot help with that sort of problems.

I know the routine by now having been here for two years, I'm just a little disappointed by the lack of response to my ticket and so I'm trying to attract some attention to the issue

Well Susy restored the directory from a backup, but didn't change the ownership back to me (its all root atm). Therefore I've now got the hacked pages stuck on the site and I've still not got email etc

Could any member of support please just chown -R the directory? Please? Its a 10 sec job
