That post was from yesterday early afternoon about that, if it is still happening, it would be nice for an update from them.

Gold's been off/on and very, very slow for a couple days now too.
Makes it hard to update my site when it takes 5 mins to load, if it does at all. Can't test my scripts. :|

I'm not sure which occasions you've used it today but I can tell you that I've been trying to get my damn MySQL database backed up as QUICKLY as possible, and so far that measures in at about 7 hours.

There have been almost no occasions that I've seen today of Xenon below a load of 85-100. I can't get to the control panel, I CERTAINLY can't get to PHPMyAdmin.

Yeah, I'm seeing this on some of my accounts on other servers too. See this announcement from Jag.

    Hacks & DoS related ?

While I appreciate the hard work Jag staff has done to repair the damage caused by criminals, as my customers endure yet another day of not being able to access my web site (and me not being able to access e-mail) I have to wonder:

Is there a theme behind these things? Did JagPC piss someone off enough so they are making a point to make our lives miserable?

It always seems like Plutonium is one of the machines targeted. I notice a few other names keep popping up, too. Is there a site on one of these machines that pisses enough people off to elicit this sort of activity?

If this stuff is targeted to a particular IP or a particular site(s) on a consistent basis, may I humbly suggest that site(s) be quarantined on a special machine? I'm not saying boot them altogether because they are victims too, but place them on a different machine to reduce the collateral damage, so to speak.

    Just a thought...

You raise an interesting point. I wonder if there are specific sites that are targeted. It may be worth looking into.

    Angry

Yes....Nickel has been off and on for a couple of days...

If specific sites are being targeted, they should move them to seperate servers...it's not fair for my users and for me.
