it's time for me to renew my domain name/hosting - what do i need to do?

my domain name and hosting plan expire next month and i'd like to renew both of them with jaguar. i'm on the annual billing cycle. what do i need to do to register so my web site won't have any down time?

they'll rebill the hosting plan if you don't say anything. the domain, i don't know.

i did buy the domain name from jaguar at the same time i did hosting plan

You'll probably get a renewal email from AletiaNic (or whomever JPC was using at the time that you registered for their registrations if they hadn't aquired Aletia yet) with instructions on how to renew. It usually isn't automatic, although some registrars are starting to do that now. Generally, you go to a website, verify or enter a credit card number and hit submit. As long as you do it before your domain's expiration date you won't have any downtime.
