How do I upload an entire web site for the first time?

We subscribed to JaguarPC yesterday, and we would like to upload our entire web site. It appears that File Manager requires us to upload files to folders we create on JaguarPC, rather than uploading entire folders and directory trees. Is that right? It is possible to simply upload our entire web site in one step (copying it from our computer to the Jaguar server)?

I'm sorry to ask such a novice question, but it wasn't clear on the Control Panel how to do this.

    Thank you for your help!
    Joseph

To upload an entire site, don't use the control panels file manager, it'd take you all day.

    Use an FTP client.

I use WS_FTP, which you can get here. If you're on a Mac, use Fetch.

This is a typical example. Guy wants to now how to do a mass upload of his site. I'm thinking he should use WS_FTP Pro. I read through the thread and there you are with the same recommendation. This happens several times a day. Kinda weird, no? We're kindred spirits...

To which address do I FTP?

Thank you for your help! To which address, though, do I FTP? I received the JaguarPC email with our default username/password, but it did not specify the host FTP server. Is it my Jaguar IP with ftp in front? I thought I saw that somehwere.

    Thanks again!
