    Odd Things

I wanted to add a new multihosted domain, so I went through the motions of adding the subdomain and then submitting the ticket.

Strangely the new subdomain won't resolve, even when deleted/recreated.I've added other subdomains at the same time and then work instantly (as they should).

Then ticket literally vanished - I received the confirmation email, then went to double check that I'd enter the right details just 5 mintues later and it was gone. I've had to submit a new one

Sorry to hear that. I'm sure the tech assumed it was working and closed the ticket. We'll be sure to let the techs know that they need to test their solutions before closing out the tickets to make sure everything is at least working from our end. With any luck, we'll be switching to a new helpdesk in the near future to allow users to re-open tickets.

Well its not that I'm afraid, when I say the ticket was gone it was deleted not closed. When a ticket is closed an email is sent and it remains in the system, this ticket disappeared completely

Anyway the second ticket was rapidly replied to and sorted (the multihosted domain setup) although oddly the subdomain issue still exists. I'm not bothered about the subdomain not resolving as long as it doesn't affect the multihosted domain. Its only a temporary situation anyway, once the site is running at full speed I'll be getting a second account for it.
