thanks.. i can see it..
My stuff's on neutron and it's been dead since ths afternoon. I can't hit your site right now, either, so maybe we're on the same box.
I can ssh in and scp and all that good crap, but the web server itself is not responding. No word from support yet. I wonder what's going on?
I'm still anxious to find out what took it down... empireofhouse.com came back as well.
WTF are you talking about? Neutron has been up for 38 days. If 'they' would let me post screenshots, I'd prove it to you.Originally posted by Weevil

Look, just 'cause YOU cannot see your site doesn't mean squat. Your ISP was probably asleep at the switch, or a router went down somewhere or something.
Sorry for being a dick, but these kinds of things are why 'they' don't pay a lot of attention to the forums. The next time you think your web site is down, try going through a proxy server. Most of the time, you will find the problem is on your end. I'm just telling you what 'they' are afraid to...
Next time your site is 'down', try to contact it through Megaproxy. If it's down over there too, it's probably down for sure.

If nothing else, do an 'uptime' from your shell before cutting loose. Consider yourself lucky to be on Neutron. It's an elite server. 'They' don't have a bunch of stumblebums over there, from what I can tell...

Hahahaha! Jokes on me!
Apologies, bro! I just checked my mails. My monitoring service reported that my site, on Neutron, was down for 2 hours, 46 minutes, 37 seconds today.
My bad --- you were right!

I guess that just shows one of the limitations of "uptime". A server may be up for 1000 days in a row, but that don't mean squat if the HTTP Service is down.
Yep, exactly! It could have been any number of things. I've noticed this with server load. If you check it and it's like .01, that sounds great, but all it is really telling you is the lights are but nobody is at home. I'm connected via SSH, but the other services are probably dead.Originally posted by dwannall

I can't get to your site or mine which is also on Neutron, and I was having problems all yesterday with it.
I can connect via ftp and my control panel.
I've filed a ticket so fingers crossed it'll be sorted soon.

Mines back up now!
I'm now having the same problems as 2 days ago, my forum has slowed to a halt and has errors all over the place, it was all working ok before I went to bed last night

Same here. Looks like we can't connect to the MySQL server...

I just launched a 'ticket' with tech support. Hopefully it will be fixed soon...
