Computer Hacking ?

Hello,

I am running Norton Internet Security and I have been getting alerts lately that there have been 'hacks - for lack of a better term". This program traces the aledged hacker. In this case - and several times over the past couple of days this is the information Norton Internet Securities has given me of the hacker:

Can you tell me why Jaguar would have a need to try to access my PC?

Would these alerts happen to coincide with your using FTP?

No they do not. I have not been using ftp at the time.

Jag isn't in the business of accessing your computer. It is probably some random thing that tripped the virus/firewall software... It wouldn't be the first time.

Its probably nothing, to be concerned with, but make not of exactly what you are doing when these things happen and then maybe we can help you figure them out. Just seeing the message with no indication of what might of caused it make it pretty much impossible to figure out.
