Having trouble with CSS margins

I'm having a little trouble with some margins in one of my divs. This seems to work with my navbar and other divs, but onthe sidebar on the right, the margins seem to be stuck at the default of 20px that I use for my main p class. So far I have been unable to determine what is causing the problem, and I thought having someone else take a look might help. The div in question has an id of "#mainright", and the p class has an id of "right" I'm trying to make it so the margins inside the right sidebar are equeal to about 10 px, so that more text will fit inside the sidebar.

Have you tried using padding in your div instead of margins on your paragraphs?

I guess I don't understand your problem. I looked at your web page
and it looks good to me. It is slightly wider than my browser resolution,
which I guess is what you are asking about. Even though there was a bottom
scroll bar, I could still see the entire page without scrolling to the right.

My complaint about the page would not be the left to right margins, but that
the text under the link for the Advocates is so small that I could not
read it. Other than that I think you have a pretty well balanced web page.
