    Change User Password

I have created email accounts for certain users with a generic password. Is there a way to have them change their email password without using Neomail?

I used to have an host that used Ensim's control panel. Each time an account was created, the owner of the account had access through a control panel like interface to manage things like the email account and user password without the direct input of the domain owner. I was hoping something similar to this was available.

If you go to the webmail page there is an option to change the password there (on the same page as where you select from Horde or Neomail). You can get to it from http://www.yourdomain.com/webmail/. You (as the domain owner) can also change individual account passwords through the control panel.

If you're a programmer and you know how the Unix passwd and shadow files work, you could wite a CGI to let users change their passwords. Your user accounts are stored in /home/yourusername/etc/passwd and /home/username/etc/shadow. Alternatively, you could follow my hints in this thread to do it through CPanel. That example is for creating email accounts, but the process for changing passwords would be the same.
