Penguin downtime?

Did anyone else notice that penguin was down last night [GMT]?

There seems to be mention of every other box and why it might be down/rebooted apart from penguin (unless I missed it) - please could we be told what happened?

They generally post announcements when they are going to be doing routine maintenance or they physically have to bring the server down for some reason. Sometimes servers go down on their own--a user's rogue script eats up resources, for example. In those cases they seem to be more concerned with getting it back online than posting what went wrong.

How long was it down? If it was only a few minutes, I wouldn't worry about it. If you're really conecerned, open a support ticket. The support staff doesn't actively monitor the forums.
