A couple SPAM questions

There are a few email addresses that I don't use anymore and I've tried blocking them with the spam filter but I still get emails addressed to these people sent to my default account. Any way to permanently delete these email addys?

Also, what is Spam Assassin?

Ummm You can force your account to bounce all unrouted mail back to the sender. Try searching the forums and you'll find the answer
