    Angry Jag says domain expired... but it's NOT

    Has anyone else had this happen to them recently? And if so, how did you resolve it?

    I am an Aletia crossover. On 14 Aug 2003, I was charged my annual fee for the webhost services. My domain is part of that service.

    I sent in a ticket because my email was down. I was told by tech support that my domain had expired. A quick check of WHOIS shows that it is not expired - it was renewed on the day I was charged for my annual fee.

    Tech support is telling me that I have to wait until Billing comes in on Monday to remedy the situation!

    I am running a business (albeit a small one but it's a business non-the-less) and NEED my email now.

    The friend who introduced me to Aletia is also having the exact same problem.

    Any ideas?

    is your web site still functional?

    if so, i dont see why your not getting your mail, seems more like a DNS problem than a Registary problem


    do you have a account at http://www.aletianic.com/ ?? if not I was request to have one set up

    this way you can manage your names from there

    I always like to have my Names seperate from my hosting..

    No, my website is down as well. EVerything related to the domain supplied with my package is kaput. To top it all off, tech support, which had been answering my ticket info within a half hour has not communicated with me at all.

    I may need to seriously start looking for a new webhost. I've never been treated like this by any online company. Tech support will not admit or correct the error even though I have shown them all of the info they need.

    I'm very disappointed.

    well any sales questions have to be handled by the Sale people whom dont work weekends, so if it is a billing problem, in any fashion, even if it has be physically charged, yet for what ever reason not showing up in the tech supports system as charged, then the Tech guys have no way to fix it, as it is a billing issue and must be fixed by the billing dept, who will do so monday...
