    Post Domain sub hosting

    Hi,
I have an account with Jaguar that allows me to sub host other domains.
Can anyone send me instructions onm how to add a domain to be sub hosted.
Also can that domain holder access that site with their own password etc and see stats for that domain.
In the "Frontend" manual there is nothing about this subject.
I would appreciate some assistance please,
    thankyou,
    Peter.

You can set up sub hosted domains through the CP. I don't think there
are any specific instructions anywhere about how to do this.

My guess about your other questions would be no. I do know that to give
a sub hosted domain an e-mail address you have to set that up in CP and
forward the e-mail to the sub hosted domain. I would think all stats
would be displayed in the CP under the main domain. Just a guess since
I don't use the features you are inquiring about. I'm sure someone that
is a lot more knowledgeable about this than I am will either confirm my
guess, or tell you something different.

First, create a subdomain in cpanel. This will also create a subdirectory in your public_html directory where you can put the files for this site. If you want to set up ftp access for someone, you can set that up in Cpanel as well. As long as you use the same name as you did for the subdomain name, that user will have access to the subdirectory for the subdomain and nothing else.

Once that's done, contact support and ask to have a multihosted domain set up. I just put in a request this afternoon for one to be set up in my account, and it was taken care of in about an hour. Your first five multihosted domains are free, any additional ones cost USD $15 to set up.

As for stats, they are available for your subdomains, but only through CPanel (AFAIK), so the domain holder would not have direct access to these.
