    public-key authentication

    Hi,

I'm trying to use PuTTY with public-key authentication.

I generate the key, but I don't know how to put the key in the server.

The PuTTY docs mention a authorized_keys file where I must copy the key, but where is this file.

Or I have to use the GnuPG keys in the Jaguar's Control Panel.

    Any clue?

    Thx

    Edgar

Your public key goes into the authorized_keys file in the .ssh subdirectory of your home directory (/home/username/.ssh/authorized_keys).

GnuPG keys happen to be a little different. They are the open source equivalent to PGP and are used for encrypting things like email, but won't work for SSH authentication (or at least I don't think they will).
