Greetings, I would like to know if the servers support JSP (Java Server Pages)?
Using Apache Tomcat?

There's a flash from the past!

Didn't know anybody was still running JSP/Tomcat...

Jajaja, it is not that I have a client who had a draft of the university, and it must be developed in JSP Tomcat

Don't get me wrong...

It was an interesting concept, but I haven't read anything about it in a couple of years - that's all!

Java servlets and JSP are in pretty widespread use in the corporate world (though a different container, like JBoss, is usually used instead of Tomcat), but these types of systems are very resource-intensive and not really practical for mass web hosts.

Lol, unlucky pick; JBoss includes Tomcat.

Indeed, not for your average shared hosting; these servers hold the applications in memory, which is a terrible waste if one server has lots and lots of applications each receiving perhaps a few hits per hour. It's also much harder to spread resources properly across the different accounts and make sure no one misuses resources so badly that he brings the server down for everyone.

Yeah, I realized that after I posted...but you get the point. I don't think I've ever seen a production system running directly on Tomcat, though I've seen several that use the JBoss wrapper. Of course I'm not an expert in any of this and the actual production environments that I've seen are few.
