Right, my computer served it's 5-year service to me early this year and I think it's time I upgraded.

I need suggestions as I haven't got a clue what's value for my money.

My budget £450 ($697) and when I say budget, I mean the maximum, I can't even stretch an extra few pounds. I want something that can handle games like Sims 2, Sims 3 (which my computer does quite well although when you move from A to B in some games, instead of showing A.1 A.2 (to A.5) it shows A, A.5 and B (if that made any sense). I also handle software like Sony Vegas, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro (which my computer atm can handle all of them at once without much lag).

My current PC specs are:
Windows XP Home Edition
Intel Celeron 2.66GHz (which I understand to be quite outdated now)
2GB DDR2 memory (upgraded from 512mb some years ago)
ATI Radeon 9550 / X1050 Series 256MB (also upgraded around 4 years ago)
80GB harddrive

I got this computer when I was 10 and at the time, it suited my needs fine and still suits them now but as gaming and media use gets more intense in graphics, it means that I've got to catch up with the times. I'm from the UK (so if you recommend any american websites, if you can, make sure they ship to the UK). After having a quick browse on PCWorld, here's what I picked out, my only concern and the thing that's stopping me from ordering one of them is the graphics card.
