    Annoying Chat Pop UP

My server was down. I checked the Network Status Page to confirm it was a server issue. Each time I reloaded the page for an update, I got a pop up asking me if I was sure I wanted to leave the page and also an invitation to chat for a discount. I wasn't trying to leave the page, just refresh it.

    Hello Mike,

Thank you for your feedback. We are currently in the process of tweaking the pop up. After your next log in to nixcore, you should no longer receive this pop up.

I'm thinking this issue is somewhat separate than the overall issue of whether or not to have the pop up. For what it's worth, I don't think the popup should happen, but that's a comment for the other thread.

The issue I'm describing seems to be a bug, or at least a misconfiguration. Or maybe it's just the way it must work. When you reload the page your are not "leaving" so the pop up should not occur. But then, I guess I wonder why I need to be offered a discount for leaving the Network Status page anyway?

Yes, that worked, but of course, that solution is only good until I clear my cookies, which happens very frequently.

    Hello Mike,

It is not based on cookies, it is based on your IP address. You should not see the pop up again. That is unless you changed IPs or were on a different computer.

Well then it doesn't seem to be working properly. I logged into the client area and the pop up quit. I logged out of the client area and it still did not pop up. But as soon as I cleared my history, etc., the pop up returned.
