    Problem with Forum?

Is it just me, or is anyone else experiencing a problem with posting / replying.

When you open up a Post, the WYSIWYG editor, all the icons are missing from the top menu?

Anyone else have the same issue?

    JaguarPC.

The problem causing the missing icons is:

You must make sure the images/editor/sprite.png file is there. And, if you have custom styles, it must be uploaded to the style/images/editor directory also.
    You are missing the sprite.png

    You can download it here:
    https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/imag...tor/sprite.png

Just make sure to place it in the two directories I mentioned above. Clear the cache and it will be fixed.

The sprite.png is already located in there. Our designers are looking at this.

You mean this isn't a FunkyFresh $35 skin?

See Example on jaguarpc.com New site critique

The profile page templates are still messed up
Moderated posts are nearly impossible to see/find
The jaguarpc site favicon is missing (C'mon you can fix THAT one yourselves, right? replace the favicon.ico in the /forum directory with the one located in the / directory )

How long does it take for a designer to fix a forum? It's been more than 4 or 5 months.
    Good luck

Hopefully if they can get the sprite.png uploaded to style/images/editor directory

it will at least fix the WYSIWYG editors.

I have used and installed SMF forums for years, but then went with VBulletin. LOVE VBULLETIN. That is all I will work with / install now. Just have to be extra careful when you start getting into custom skins, and then do an update to Vbulletin. Most times you need to revert all the styles, etc.

Hilarious? Why shouldn't it be one of those? Makes perfect sense to me to buy a skin from someone who knows what he's doing because he's made it his specialty to make tons of them and then customize it. No point reinventing the wheel first.

Hilarious, because it is called FUNKY FRESH. That is a pretty funny name for a skin/template.

I don't blame them at all for using a custom template. Some of the custom templates out there are really neatly done by experts.

I don't have a problem with whoever using a budget commercial skin. However, whoever the designer is who installed it should do a complete job and be able to fix problems in a reasonable amount of time.

Also if some designer charged me for a custom theme/template/whatever and used another's commercial product as its basis (especially if I wasn't aware), I'd be VERY concerned that a proper license was obtained from the original source.
    Good luck

Oh.. right. Guess I'm used to stuff like that having over the top names.
