    cPanel manual

Is there an online manual somewhere for the control panel, or a pdf I could download. Much of it is not very intuitive, especially for someone who is not a web designer.

    Both: http://www.cpanel.com/docs.htm

    Notes:
    - I don't think JagPC is using the default skin, so buttons may look slightly different and be in a different place on the page
    - JagPC is not necessarily offering each and every option the (latest) cPanel might be capable of, so it is likely that a few of the functions described aren't available here.
    - These are reference manuals. If you're feeling particularly green, you might additionally want to google for some tutorials on specific tasks.

I hesitate to give out this link, because it is horribly out of date, but JPC does have a manual at http://jaguarpc.com/support/manual/. A lot of the content in it is relavent, although the placement of things on the screen and whatnot have probably changed. HOWEVER, note that this information hasn't changed in several years and some of it no longer applies.

Of course, if you have specific questions, feel free to post them here. The people who hang out here are a friendly bunch and are always willing to help out a newbie.

Once you get used to the CPanel interface and terminology, you'll become a pro in no time.

Thanks for the link, there is definately some information I can use. I am initially interested in adding a counter to my website - either hidden, or not. It does not seem to be an intuitive process, at least for me.

    Thanks again.

The only thing worse than no information is misinformation.

Doesn't happen often that I disagree with Jason out here, but I do feel I must warn you to stear clear of that specific manual. It may look cool at first, because it was written specifically for the situation and JagPC and covers well more than just the control panel, but it truly is horribly out of date. A lot of what is written there simply isn't true anymore and won't help you to get stuff working. I found out the hard way when I arrived here nearly three years ago - an eternity when it comes to server software and setup - and it hasn't been touched since.
