Using the control panel to migrate a site

Hi can anyone help please, on a number of occasions I have seen Jag say
Most other cp's such as direct admin and interworx have a built in migration tool that lets you transfer accounts from a cpanel server.
can anyone give me a hint where this tool can be found with Direct admin please cos I have looked and cannot find it (alternatively if you have some glasses that work better than mine)

    Many thanks

It might be an administrative tool that isn't built into the actual control panel anywhere--like a command line tool or something like that. You might want to contact support about it, or just ask Jag himself (he's usually pretty good about returning PM's).

Thanks jason, I asked support and they were not aware of the feature, unfortunately I chose DA cos thats what Jag recommended for my needs (I think he was right tbh) BUT I would like to have been able to do the migration without having to bother support every 5 minutes, I know some control panels have the feature built in CPanel and plesk do I believe, since I don't want to go offline and its all about dns propagation I think I am going to struggle

You need root level access at your old server and new server to make use of those types of tools. If you dont have that then just zipping and unzipping files after you've recreated the accounts is all you can do.
