Which control panel are you using?

To make the choice easier for me and others who are thinking of getting a VPS, I thought I would post this poll:

Which control panel did you choose for your VPS?

Hit Post Reply to share your experiences:
    - Which VPS plan do you have?
    - Which OS did you choose?
    - Do you host your own sites only, or are you a reseller?
    - Have you created private name servers?
    - How happy are you with your choices (OS and control panel)?

    1) I have been using Plesk 8, which is about 40000 X better than Cpanel
    2) Fedora Core 4 - best Linux OS
    3) I host 2 of my own sites as well as 2 other sites which i don't charge for hosting.
    4) Private Name Servers are a must if you're going to be adding more than one domain to your account. its a pain to contact Jag every time you want to add new domains.
    5) I am very happy with my OS choice as well as CP choice.

What made you choose Plesk over WHM.Cpanel? In my experiance Plesk doesn't provide the functionality that cpanel does. ex. the script lybrary or fantastico.

    1) Used to have cpanel, then switched to interworx. Which i believe is much better
    2) Freedom VPS (+128mb addon)
    3) I host 3 medium traffic sites and then just like 6 other small sites which have little to no traffic but are used for email or basic image hosting. (nothing too heavy)
    4) Yeh private nameserver's are a must, it was literally the first thing i setup.
    5) Im happy with CentOS 3.6 but i would of liked 4.x (when i paid to have the O/S and Control Panel changed i thought they would of put 4.x on. But it doesnt really matter i suppose)

I got interworx after evaluating the demos at the various sites. However I didn't check out DirectAdmin but I do know the other 3 have working demos at their sites.

    1) Freedom VPS (+128mb ram addon, 4 additional ips -- 5GB disk and 1mbps bandwidth through WHT offer)
    2) CentOS.
    3) I will be hosting one of my own and my brothers' site once I can get suexec/php/fastcgi working 100%. I may be hosting others on a shared ip but the initial ones have dedicated ip address.
    4) Of course. However I am looking to try and get a secondary dns for backup.
    5) Quite happy.

    1. Apollo server, with Cpanel/WHM Fantastico and RvSKIN
    2. CentOS (main OS used by JPC on their own servers, i dont really care which OS, but since they where using it, i decided to use it as well).
    3. Own + Clients
    4. Running own nameserver on the machine + outside for those domains which want this service. (also incl. backup mx).
    5. Yes, running the same configuration in multiple datacenters, and want to deliver my customers the same look and feel everywhere. Change from cpanel/whm rvskin would simple mean a change of several servers, no option for me.

    Kind regards,
    Patrick

    1) Cpanel/Apollo Plan on Endeavor Server
    2) CentOS but I wish I had gone with Fedora as I'm more expierenced with it. Not sure why I didn't request it but I just didn't
    3)Own + clients
    4) Yes we set up our own nameservers
    5) Wish I would have went the Fedora/Interworx route mainly due to memory use of cPanel and lack of Apache 2 support. Maybe one day I'll have time to switch it all over but have been too busy lately.
