    @Greg

Aside from the fact I got a little irritated over at WHT regarding a thread about Jaguar and replied showing my irritation, perhaps you might like to have a look and put the company POV accross.

The thread is here and my irritation may have shown here

I apologise if I have spoken out of turn there, and will leave it to you to reply as you see fit. (especially as it has already cost one potential client of Jaguar http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=513618)

    Rebel,

I just read the thread, now i do read WHT from time to time, and i also did read about them before i did decide to go to JPC, and not all is positive around JPC, never been that way, but it doesnt really matter, someone who reads those forums and decides not to go for JPC is just narrow minded if they dont try to contact JPC first and try to validate these comments.

I do like JPC, but also think improvements are always possible, a perfect company simply doesnt exist, but it doesnt hurt to get near to perfect .

I also think that any customer of JPC which thinks it needs to tell its story at WHT must be really desperate because of some reason.

I don't have an account at WHT so i will not publish my thoughts there, but you are right, what they request seems to me a Sales question. But i do understand that some people might not think its logic. (this is maybe something Greg can clarify better to his users, as it still seems to be unclear for some).

So Greg, keep up the good work! (and keep my VPS up will ya )

    Kindest regards,
    Patrick

Rebel007 good comments. Of the 6 or negative comments it that thread, it looked to me like there were that many positive comments.

I have no idea how many VPS customers that Jag has, but I would guess the negative comments in that thread represent less than 1% of Jag VPS customers.

Anyone making a choice about webhost based on that thread is naive IMHO.

Not sure why this guy is having such a probelm????

I also have a VPS on Katarn and noticed the unusual load and sent a ticket into support. In less than 10min. a response telling me the server was doing a back-up and using an unusual amount of memory. They killed the back-up and left it for the senior techs to look at this week.

    Not a big deal

Overall.....To a Newbie like me with VPS....The level of service can't be compared to anyone. They have been more than helpful!!!

The backups do cause i/o problems and slow things down. This is a known issue that we are actively addressing and should be able to put to rest in the next several weeks, one node at a time.

No, cant win them all but if you read every negative post youll usually it it filled with way more positive. Oddly enough we somehow manage to turn even the bad ones in our favor.
