    new VPS/cPanel issues

I've just made the jump from Shared Hosting, to VPS - thanks to Jag for the Special

However I have some problems which I think I need to resolve in httpd.conf, but am struggling with what to put in there. My specific issues are :-

    a) on shared hosting, typing domain.com/cpanel redirects to domain.com:2082 but this is not part of the standard httpd.conf
    b) for some reason, mailman from within cPanel brings up a 404 error (not actually setting it up, but accessing it once it is setup) - I'm assuming that there needs to be an alias setup for /mailman, but don't know where it should point
    c) For new mailing lists, the confirmation email comes back saying that the list can be administered at http://cpanel.nocdirect.com/mailman/admin/listname which is also wrong I can't find in WHM or cPanel where to change this from cpanel.nocdirect.com to my own domain (or preferably [domain] which would be dependent on the domain in use)...

Any help would be much appreciated.

and now just to make my day, one of my sites is having issues with sessions in PHP.
Is it safe to assume that /usr/local/lib/php.ini would match the shared servers fairly closely?
    aaarrrggghhhh!!!

I thought there was an issue with PHP sessions with PHP-as-CGI.
Maybe a search of the PHP going CGI thread will yield an answer.

I read a post from Jag that PHP-as-CGI was not being implemented on VPS?

That's a very good point. Unless you implemented it yourself? lol

    Good luck.
